Inspired by Laura McCabe, I made this pair with Swarovski rivolis in Heliotrope, Swarovski crystals in Lilac and Full Aurora Borealis (AB) Effects. The latter has flashes of gold and green from different perspectives. I also used seed beads in shades of deep purple and blue with flashes of pink and green and made picots with bronze seed beads. LAURA McCABE BEZEL RING - SOLD

Laura McCabe is a renowned beading specialist, whose forte is making exquisite jewellery using seed beads, miyuki beads and delicas, with Swarovski crystals and other lovely beads. Her uniqueness lies in her technique : the Peyote Stitch, with durable nylon thread.
I am so excited to have learnt her beading technique and I followed her instructions to design and create this bezel ring, which I made using a Swarovski rivoli in Crystal Copper. I made the bezel with lovely gold-purple seed beads and gold cylinder beads.
I must confess that making this ring was quite challenging, especially when I realised after sitting at it for 3 hours, that I got it all wrong and I had to dismantle everythting to start again from scratch. However, the sheer love and passion for beading, and the patience that one exercises in respect of all that one is passionate about, is personally rewarding to say the least.
I am truly pleased with the result and hope you are too!

SWAROVSKI PEARLIES - SOLD

I received requests to make some earrings that are simple and suitable for the office particularly. I figured I could not quite go wrong with pearls. So I chose Swarovski Crystal Pearls in cool and neutral colours and came up with this foursome. All findings (earhooks, pins and spacers) in 925 Sterling Silver.

From the top: Swarovski Cyrstal Pearls in Dark Grey, Light Blue, Light Grey and Black.
